My Girls

I don't have a lot of girlfriends, but the ones I do have are awesome. I had an idea a long time ago to juxtapose beautiful girls and beautiful, even lighting with a giant mess, but it never came together because I wanted to shoot it all on the same day, and my girls have very different schedules. But one weekend back in January while my friend Samara was in town, we made it happen.

I had each of the girls choose a favourite, messy food and bring it over to my house. We set up a small studio, the girls donned white tank tops, and we went to town! Everyone was laughing hysterically for close to 5 hours. The girls did a great job.

I love these pictures. They are beautiful and hilarious, and a good indication of how fun my amazing friends are. Click on the photo to view both sets on Flickr!
